RAE2008
7/8 May 16.30 start | Book
this seminar
>>
Les Ebdon,
Vice-Chancellor, University of Bedfordshire
John Rogers,
Director of research and Knowledge Transfer, University of Stirling
By May 2009 the outcome of RAE2008 will be clear. The detail of REF may still be under discussion but Government policy will still focus on the contribution university research makes to economic growth and wellbeing. So the imperative is for each institution to develop not only a coherent research and KT strategy but also a structure, incentives and resources directed towards ensuring its success. Our speakers will raise the main choices available to HEIs, in the light of current government initiatives and help address the issues at participants' own institutions.
Participants are invited to share topics and problems of interest to their institution.
