Members of University Councils and Governing bodies face increasingly complex and challenging responsibilities in the face of new developments in funding and global markets. While other organisations provide briefings on specific issues, this seminar will provide the opportunity to share with a small number of colleagues from other institutions, in confidence and in an informal atmosphere, issues and problems faced by those taking on such responsibilities. We have chosen two speakers with wide experience working with governing bodies of different institutions and engagement at the national level.

Participants are invited to share topics and problems of interest to their institution.
